We’ve never met a cheeseboard we didn’t like, so when the good people we surround ourselves with offered us some very sage cheese-related advice, we went with it. It’s genius! We love their product, the site, and service. If only I lived in NYC, I would ooze cheese from my every pore. If you’re in the Big Apple give them a shot: You Should Try This Cheese
If you’re not in NYC, your perfect cheeseboard awaits you at Trader Joe’s. Here’s the list our friends at Try This Cheese provided.
1. Triple Cream Brie
2. 1000 Day Aged Gouda
3. Herbed Goat cheese
4. Syrah Soaked Toscano
How delightful and doable does this sound? Game on.
We added seedless red grapes, olives, prosciutto fig preserves, and some local goat cheese to liven things up.
Fig preserves Bonne Manan are quite tasty while containing no GMOs.
First Light Chipotle honey goat chevre. Handcrafted cheese from Western NY. We love it.
Here are the actual cheese farmer and his goat. We dig it. You can purchase it locally at http://www.farmersandartisans.com/
Back to Trader Joes.
- The Gouda and Syarh Soaked Toscano paired very nicely with the fig preserve, no cracker needed!
- The Syarh proved to be my surprise fav, not too strong, but tasty.
- The triple cream Brie smooth, no aftertaste. The herbed goat cheese also excellent.
- Flatbread provided a great pairing for the soft cheeses.
Olives, Marcona almonds, prosciutto, and grapes ensure it’s a crowd pleaser and a hearty appetizer.
Thanks to You should try this cheese for a great recommendation. We look forward to continuing our cheese friendship. I will happily recommend your services to my NYC friends. Cheese party anyone?
