The hibiscus flower is an edible accoutrement that is the perfect accent for Spring entertaining, just like we did with this ho-hum cheesecake...not so ho-hum anymore!

We picked this little gem up at Pyramids in Hilton Head, SC. It has a subtle sweet, tart taste. Both the flower and the syrup are completely edible.

Helpful hint: use tweezers to remove the flower from the jar and to arrange it however you like. You can even take it to the next level like my mom did- note the flower in a flower on the cheesecake.

If you would like to try the Wild Hibiscus you can check out Pyramids they will ship it right to you!
