I never knew exactly what to do with these shelves in our little breakfast nook. It’s valuable space where everyone ends up when it’s time to eat…so my Grandma’s cut glass that I had displayed there wasn’t getting a ton of (any) use. Time to make a change…
So. What do we use every day? Plates, bowls, glasses, a serving dish, napkins (well, some more than others) and most important, coffee mugs.
Easy access to what makes sense. I couldn’t be happier! A little color lifts the spirit, too.
A few cookbooks (I was able to display a couple of my Grandma’s old cookbooks in exchange for the cut glass), a place for the tea bags, and some pretty napkins that will hopefully aid in the development of my kids’ manners.
How cute are these plates? I call the porcupine!
A little less clutter, a little more color. Happy Summer!
Thank you, Anthropologie!
