I’ll keep it simple: Break’N Eggs is my favorite breakfast place–and I’m not alone in this sentiment. The best part, in my humble opinion, is the fresh ingredients. The crepes for which the restaurant is named are the pièce de résistance. (After all, you need to break a ton of eggs to make a crepe.) I also love the atmosphere, talented chef, the passed down recipes, price point, and the doggone crispy breakfast potato. I don’t even love breakfast potatoes, but the Break’N Eggs crispy breakfast potatoes are ridiculous… good ridiculous.
The menu is a crowd pleaser. My 75-year old mom loves the crepes, my college-age boys love the two-egg special and the crabs Benedict. My niece…the Nutella Banana crepe.
Locally sourced coffee and maple syrup add to the charm.
Insider Tip: Get there early, or be prepared to wait a bit. Though, it is definitely worth it.
