We did it! We don’t own a boat, but we like to be on the water with a captain navigating the waters, cool beers and wine on hand. And if we’re being honest, a full bar with a tropical touch would be ideal. Alright, now we’re talking. Now, snap out of the daydream because Buffalo Tiki Tours has made this a reality. We chose the two-hour private tour and our group was a complex mix of adults and college-aged kids. It wasn’t always easy, but we made it work.
We loved Captain Paul and highly recommend him. He was very professional, but easy going, and very knowledgeable of the Buffalo River history. He adapted well to curious college boys who took to the lighthouse and outer harbor, and the wine- drinking, photography geek, history buffs in tow (Spoiler alert: That’s me).
The light breeze fluttering by kept us cool on the water and it felt good to know that a bathroom stop was well within reach if needed.
Silo City was my favorite stop, love the redo.
Beautiful sailboats, kayakers, and boaters, each politely accommodating the other…life was but a dream.
Giant Labatt cans made for a great photo op!
Make sure you grab a bite to eat at Riverworks when you’re done.
This tour is perfect for bachelorette parties, date nights, family nights, or any celebration for that matter. The Buffalo Tiki Tours can accommodate all. You just have to be cool and respectful, makes sense, right?
I would bring an aux cord just in case because our bluetooth did not connect, though the radio was just fine.
Thanks, Tiki Tours for some good clean fun. We can’t help but love Lake Erie.
